Project Manager
Manuel was born in Mexico and moved to the United States as a young teen. He started with the company back in 2004 as a laborer & worked his way up. During that time he attended community college in the evenings, to improve his communication skills.
Manuel now serves as one of our Project Managers, and has done so since 2015. When he started at Krugel he had no prior construction knowledge. Nowadays, with nearly 20 years of experience under his belt, Manuel has become something of an expert in the field of hardscape & masonry construction. He most enjoys watching the projects transform from two-dimensional design to a tangible reality.
In his time away from work, Manuel loves spending time with his family and traveling. One thing people might not know about Manuel is that he wanted to return to Mexico by the time he turned 40. However, before that happened, he and his wife were blessed with two lovely boys. Now a proud father he has decided to stay in the U.S. to raise them and likes to take them out fishing.
Project Manager
Scott was introduced to the world of construction at a young age, through his fathers residential construction business. Over the years he has worked in a multitude of disciplines from a custom stair builder, self employed contractor, to a Project Manager for a custom home builder.
As he put it best, “My whole career has been in residential construction”.
At Krugel Scott enjoys working alongside his fellow employees to deliver a product that meets & exceeds the client’s expectations. He takes the most pleasure in the creativity afforded by his position as Project Manager. Ranging from troubleshooting jobsite complications, to seeing the final product into fruition; One which will last for years to come.
During his time out of the office, Scott loves spending time with his wife and children doing outdoor activities such as boating, camping, snowmobiling and four wheeling. He may also be found working in his woodshop, furthering his love of creative expression & the building process.
Maintenance and Repairs Manager
Originally from Puerto Rico, Alex moved to the United States as a young teen. He joined the Krugel Cobbles family back in early 2007 and has since worked his way up from a general laborer to our outstanding Repairs & Maintenance Manager.
Alex brings a tremendous amount of Hardscape upkeep & care expertise to the table. He enjoys being part of such a great team, & working alongside them to preserve and care for nearly 150 projects annually.
When not hard at work, Alex can be found relaxing, riding his motorcycle, or playing with Suerte (Lucky in spanish), the stray pup he found & rescued from the streets in 2021. However, Alex most enjoys spending the off season at his home in Puerto Rico. A trip he has since made with his travel buddy Suerte.
Administrative Operations
Adolfo moved from California to Illinois in 1995. He attended the College of Lake County and then later graduated from University of Wisconsin.

When not in the office he can be found exercising, reading, learning new skills. Adolfo also enjoys spending time with friends, family & his pets . The one thing other people might not know about Adolfo is he is an avid runner, exercise enthusiast, and likes to go fishing.
Construction Manager/ Sr. Estimator
Yash started his American journey in 2016, leaving India with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering to pursue an advanced degree at Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago, where he attained his Masters in Construction Management in 2018. Initiating his professional trajectory with a carpentry construction contractor in Chicago.
At Krügel Cobbles, he began his tenure as a cost estimator, exhibiting unparalleled dedication and proficiency. Today, Yash holds a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing crucial aspects including cost estimation, pre-construction management, and project execution.
Outside of Krügel, he enjoys spending time with friends, exploring diverse culinary experiences, playing cricket, and immersing himself in the vibrant culture of Chicago. This profound passion for exploration and diverse interests is a testament to Yash’s boundless curiosity and zest for life.
Designer
Alonso is an accomplished architect from Mexico, bringing extensive experience in architectural, interior, industrial, and landscaping design. His professional journey includes significant academic and social work in Brazil, France, and Vietnam.
At Krugel Cobbles, Alonso is our talented designer, known for his innovative and aesthetically pleasing solutions.
Outside of work, Alonso enjoys spending time with friends, discovering new cultural and entertainment activities, and staying active through exercise.He is also a devoted dog owner, adoring his two beloved pets.
Bookkeeper
Elise studied at University of Phoenix, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Sciences, with a concentration in Human Resources. Her academic accomplishments also include her Paralegal and Yoga Teaching certifications.
Elise began her career with Krugel Cobbles in Early 2022 as a Bookkeeper, but she also assists in various office activities. Elise’s goal is to become a valued asset to the company, and looks forward to learning and growing with the team, as well as building long lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
Outside of work, she has interests in outdoor activities, practicing and teaching yoga, and spending time with her bulldogs, Finn and Lucy.
Estimator
Meenu is a civil engineer from India who has been residing in the U.S. for over a decade. As a first-generation immigrant, her diverse experiences have shaped her into the individual she is today.
Meenu began her career with Krugel in early 2022 where she joined the team as an estimator. She currently oversees a portion of the new construction estimates, as well as handling all of our Repair & Maintenance projects. Meenu is also responsible for Krugels social media, so don’t forget to say hi.
When not at Krügel, Meenu enjoys spending time with her tech-savvy husband and their two wonderful children, going on adventures & exploring new places together. She is also passionate about & enjoys attending Women in Engineering Socials & Networking events.
